Flawless DTF Transfering Using Your Heat Press Machine
What You’ll Need
- A flat surface and a reliable heat press
- Your DTF transfer from Iris DTF
A clean, lint-free garment (cotton, polyester, or blends) - Teflon sheet or parchment paper (optional for added protection)
Step-by-Step Pressing Instructions
For flawless results, use this step-by-step method.

Step 1
Prepare Your Materials
Preheat your garment for 5 seconds using your Cricut EasyPress to remove any wrinkles or moisture. Make sure your surface is flat and firm (no ironing boards).

Step 2
Position the Design
Place the DTF transfer on the fabric with the image side up. Cover the design with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet to protect it during pressing.

Step 3
Press with Your Cricut
Set your EasyPress to 315°F (157°C). Apply medium to firm pressure for 15–20 seconds. Do not move the press while applying.

Step 4
Cool & Peel
Let the design cool completely for 30–60 seconds. Slowly peel the film from one corner. If parts lift, cover again and press for another 5–10 seconds.
